Overview
This program is designed to prepare students to write the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows 10 certification exams. The MCSA Windows 10 certification demonstrates knowledge and skills in working with Windows 10 and validates ability to support end users and maintain systems and mobile devices that run Windows 10. In this program student obtains the skills and knowledge required to install, deploy, and upgrade to Windows 10, including ensuring hardware and software compatibility. Additionally, student learns how to configure system settings, Windows security features, network and remote connectivity applications, and mobile computing, as well as various troubleshooting tools and techniques that enable them to address Startup, Group Policy, user profile, logon, and performance issues in Windows 10 in an enterprise network environment.

Requirements for MCSA Windows Server 2012 Certification
MCSA Windows 10 candidates are required to pass two exams: 70-697, and 70-698 exams.
Program Notes
Students must pass all courses and achieve a 75% program average to earn a certificate. All current Microsoft certification exams are computer based tests administered through independent testing agency Prometric.
Admission Requirements
A British Columbia Secondary School Diploma or equivalent with prior education in English at grade 10 level or higher.
OR
Mature students who pass an entrance evaluation demonstrating sufficient ability (i.e., English comprehension and math skills) to undertake the program.
All applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the above requirements or through an English language assessment (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent).
Program Prerequisites
A candidate should have at least one year of experience in the IT field, as well as experience implementing and administering any Windows client operating system in a networked environment.

Microsoft Windows 10 Configuring (SSMS697)
This course prepares the student to write the exam 70- 697 – Windows 10, Configuring. Passing this exam counts as credit towards the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 10 certification.
Microsoft Windows 10 Installing and Configuring (SSMS698)
This course prepares the student to write the exam 70- 698 – Windows 10, Installing and Configuring. Passing the prerequisite exam and this exam completes the requirements for the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 10 certification.
